Play together in a live band setting!
Our bands for children and young people bring together budding musicians to explore ensemble playing, build confidence, and enjoy performing.

Enrolment opens soon for the Autumn term
Monthly subscription - £39.60 per month
Saturdays at Thomas Tallis School (SE3 9PX), term-time (at least 10 sessions per term)
9.20-10.20am • Intro level (Beginners & continuers aged 7+) - Great first ensemble
10:20-11:20am • Level 1 (Ages 8+ already taking lessons) - Builds on core ensemble skills
12:30-1:30 • Level 2 (Ages 10+ already taking lessons) - Performance-focused level
12:30-1:30 • Level 3 (Ages 12+ already taking lessons) - Perform and record
Means-tested support of up to 50% is available from our Bursary Fund, for families with financial need. Apply here.

Band Structure

  • Group size: 6–12 young musicians
  • Age range & levels: Beginner to early-advanced; suitable for ages 7-18
  • Instrumentation: Open to guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, woodwind, brass, and vocals
  • Content: Learn arrangements, improvisation, dynamics, performance techniques - and have fun!
