Ben Griffiths
PGDip
Growing up in Stockport, Ben learnt the violin before settling on the flute, and was lucky enough to have countless, quality, musical experiences through the schools he went to and the local music service. He went on to study at Kings’ College, London, and then the RNCM, where he gained a distinction in his Post Graduate Performance Diploma.
Ben has over 20 years of experience working with schools, music services, and arts organisations. He has developed and delivered whole class instrumental projects; curriculum music across Early Years, KS1 and KS2; trained and mentored students, teachers, and instrument tutors; managed, developed, and evaluated collaborative partnerships as well as designing and leading instrumental and creative workshops.
Alongside his work with schools and young musicians, he has performed and toured internationally with orchestras and chamber ensembles and can be heard on film and tv soundtracks, adverts, and albums, and has worked with a wide range of artists from Alfred Brendel to Kae Tempest.
